I have a Bontreger dropper and it’s been going strong for over a year. I upgraded the dropper lever to the Wolf Tooth. It’s really nice. My newest bike has the Fox Transfer and their new lever. Definitely a high quality component!

I'm looking to get back into the sport. Glad to see droppers are an actual thing now.
I'd probably want a frame with (very) steep seat tube angle where there post is inserted. Short insert length then vital for rear wheel clearance. Being someone who likes to throw bikes in the back of a car, and hanving sick long inseam, long travel dropper posts look like the best thing ever. Now only one thing is missing... What about suspension for use on hardtails?
Canecreek had this 4" parallelogram suspension post that that kinda OK when it didn't squeak. 2" of "vertical" travel, especially when the STA is nice and steep, would be pretty cool. I guess most serious riders are on fullies nowadays and the way racing and trails have developed, I get that. I guess I'll just need to find me a 29+ Trek fullie and throw on the best possible dropper that can handle the extension I need?

Reverb AXS is insanely expensive. But then again it’s the only wireless system on the market.
