the fact that humanity was gifted with the ability to create something as beautiful as this is absolutely mind boggling. there's something so inherently calming and serene about this piece. the way the voices blend and harmonize with each other makes me want to cry tears of pure enlightenment.

I learned his work as a 12 year old choir boy. It was hard work. The Anglican Church can be quite demanding. But I now celebrate his work as a 72 year old. You can seek Tallis, but then allow Tallis to find you. It's an interesting journey. DWD

Last year, I joined my school's choir with not a lot of interest in singing this kind of music. However, through every day of practice, I've slowly become more and more appreciative of singing this song with my peers. I have to say, the atmosphere in the classroom was heavenly.
