Why Cambridge Should Bring Back the Turquoise KJV:

One of the Finest Large Print Reference Bibles Available, featuring outstanding quality in design, materials, and manufacturing, the King James "Turquoise" Edition is distinguished from all others. "Turquoise" does not refer to the color of this magnificent bible, but rather to the revered, formerly Out of Print, and much sought-after Cambridge "Turquoise" type-setting of the beloved King James Version Bible. The "Turquoise" Edition combines the rare combination of a Large Print 11 Point Typeface AND Center-Column References.

The Large Print and Center-Column Reference distinction is rare and important because most Large or Giant Print Reference Bibles will put the cross-references in the margin or blank space at the end of a verse. But the "Turquoise" Edition provides the familiarity of Center-Column References without sacrificing print size and makes this magnificent bible perhaps the closest competitor to the revered Allan Longprimer Edition. Yet featuring a luxurious Calfskin leather cover and "lined to the edge" smyth-sewn binding for extreme flexibility, and at only a fraction of the cost of the Longprimer... the Turquoise edition is sure to become a perennial best-seller with King James Bible enthusiasts.

The Turquoise type is large for ease of reading. The page size is generous, and the quality Calfskin Leather binding is handsome and durable. The "Turquoise" text of the King James Version is combined with comprehensive cross-references, a full concordance and dictionary, as well as a presentation page and family record section.

Features:
- Large Print 11pt. "Turquoise" font
- Luxurious Black Calfskin Leather Cover

Leather-Lined Style:
The Midsize Center-Column Reference Bible - Turquoise Edition's "lined to the edge” style carefully joins the cover to the Bible, using several flexible components which eliminates restrictions and stress points often found in paste-off or glue-bound methods. This unique style of binding offers the utmost flexibility, thus allowing your Bible to withstand years of continuous use. The “imitation leather-lined” binding combined with Smyth-Sewn pages set this bible apart in terms of flexibility and durability.

I have the Church bible publishers Turquoise, because of financial issues and it appears to be the same apart from the font in the CBP. Seems a bit darker.but I do like it.

I like that the inner margin is so wide, rather than stuffed too closely to the threads of the binding.

I just ordered this same exact one from the kjvstore site 2 days ago. If it wasn't for this video review here demonstrating everything this edition has to offer, I doubt of would have bought it by simply just looking at pictures of this edition with summaries of it's description. I can't wait till the package arrives. Excellent video review btw.

Brother, I noticed that you said you guys do inscriptions on the bottom right corner of the cover well I did ask one of the sisters who answers the phones if you guys did that but she said no because you don’t have the machine or tools to do it now is she mistaken or just unaware that you actually do this or do you have to request this on the website when you order as an option?

The 1 that looks like an I is a "Lowercase" 1. Usually that means 0 1 2 are half-height (and 1 looks like a small I), 3 4 5 7 9 are slid halfway down, and 6 and 8 look the same as "Uppercase" numerals.

What do you think of the KJV note less classic Bible? It's set up just like the old scolfield Bible. Just with out the notes or references.

I couldn't help but notice that on the Micah 5 passage you show close up it looks like the center column references have "d", "e" and "f", but in the actual text I can't see an "e" super-scripted on any of the words. Is it missing or just not visible in the video?

Actually, those notes are genuinely different ( Wrong ) readings in the center column. *The KJV is RIGHT* . There are genuine errors in the Hebrew and Greek that the KJV was translated from, and the correct readings were taken from different manuscripts. When it says (Heb), for example, there are plenty of times where a DIFFERENT reading, not synonym, is provided. Also, there is a clear cut, plain as day, error, in the Textus Receptus Greek that the KJV translators had, as found in verse of John 1:21. It says "a prophet" in the Textus Receptus. John says no, but he is called by Jesus Christ a prophet, so the Textus Receptus is CORRECTED with the older reading, PRESERVED in the foreign translations used to help in the KJV translation. *The lesson of the story is Greek and Hebrew don't prove bunk against the KJV* .
