I am a developer that was looking for a video to share with my newbie, non-techie clients to introduce them to adding their own content. Thank you for clear, concise explanation without all the gratuitous fluff found in other videos. I like that you touch on many of the settings at a basic level, giving an excellent overview of the features without getting bogged down in a deep in this video. I also like how you stay on most common options available in the core WP. The block editors' many options can easily overwhelm a beginner, making a clear tutorial that much more important. I have used WP Classic Editor about x1 pm for 12 years. So I am no expert but old ways are embedded. Now I MUST make the change. So thanks for making it understandable. The jump from a word processing way of doing content to what must be a graphic design approach is quite a leap. But this has helped

Exploring the Wordpress Block editor is like exploring a glacier on Mars that's spreading down Jabba the Hut's arse. With killer bees. I bet the Wordpress team's next idea is to build mazes in front of every toilet door. In. The. World. How does one add space between paragraphs that doesn't involve a new tool menu/ theme/ plug in or ransome to get the old Classic editor back? Back in the day you just pressed one single button: Return. Doing that now means you've just added a new block.

For writers of short story fiction that includes dialogue, the spacing of the blocks is way too wide. Each speaker needs to start a new paragraph, and if they utter short one-line sentences, it looks really bad on the page. Is there any way around this?

WHAT A BIG MESS THIS BLOCK SYSTEM. I normally use Page Builder which allows much more flexibility and control in designing. Is it possible to revert to previous editor?. Many thanks for your video.
