Exploring The WordPress Navigation Block (The good, the bad, and the confusing)

In this video we take a quick look at the new Navigation Block in WordPress 5.9. There are a few things I love, and a few things that have left me scratching my head.

And apologies for the abrupt ending, the rest of my file corrupted 🙄 All I was going to ask is if you have your eye on any of the other new theme blocks?

👍👍 When I try to justify my navigation block (sits in the header) no matter if I try left, right or center it not works. My navigation block stucks with the site title. I don't know how to justify it, adding blocking space is th wrong turn because it makes the mobile menue toggle sitting way below in the hero section. Happy sunday to all !

Such a detailed video…👍hey I’m creating my Wordpress blog site and almost done with it but I used Menu in Appearance…..could you please tell me the difference and benefits of Navigation blocks as compared to what we create through Appearance….

Kyle, it looks like you ran into a few anomalies with FSE editing of the Nav. Block in the header template. Based on your dashboard it looks like you also had the Gutenberg plugin active. I'm wondering if this was causing any of the anomalies you saw. I'm new at this so this is only a guess.

Thanks so much for your video. It is still broken. I can't change the color for my menu items at all via the designer. I can only change the background which is weird.
