My favorite gym friend is blind guy, he’s a musician that unfortunately was a victim of a bombing many moons ago, he seemed lost so I asked if he needed help and it turns out they swapped ALL of the machines around so I helped him re-memorise them, he’s the kindest and best gym bro I’ve ever met at any gym and literally EVERYONE loves him!

It makes me super happy to see how accessible the gym is for EVERYBODY nowadays!!

It’s worth pointing out that you loop the leash not so he doesn’t run away, but so you can easily find it again. He’s not tied up! 😂

Thanks so much for posting this. I am legally blind and am stressed by the idea of navigating the gym alone. It is such a uniquely hectic place for someone with low or no vision. You and Elton are so impressive! It really helps to watch and learn from other visually impaired/blind people. Thanks so much!

I trained one of my family dogs as a possible service dog because I was told I could take him with me when moving out. That was revoked in the end, but a couple of years later I’m spending the day with him and he’s still so good I wanna cry. He’s so attentive and plops down in the shade and waits when I’m doing stuff. I love him.
