“Any stupid baby can do this” is a surprisingly motivating quote.

I like how this isn't just you talking over one unrelated speed drawing with a cutesy voice. You're cutting the bs and getting to the point and telling us how to improve. I love it.

You legit come off as a classic 80's "No bullshit counselor" type guy in your vids, love that.

RIP Danny, you were a good dog

I kind of like the way you teach it's kind of like getting reversed bullied it feels like you punched me in the face state what i'm doing wrong in a form of a insult then nek minnit you pull out a whiteboard from out of nowhere and go "here's how you do it.... YOU BABY"

I love how your finding new sources of humor
I was scared that the humor was gonna get kinda stale
But your personality and sense of humor is more than that

i just discovered this guy and im madly in love. reminds me of my internship boss who pushed us so hard we didnt wanna do our work anymore but at the end we came out the way we wanted to be when we started drawing. Everyday in the morning when we'd arrive at the studio at about 7 A.M, he would make us do life drawing for 2 hours and begin our work at 9 A.M, which really loosened us up for the day. And then later during our internship he gave us the exact advice this guy is giving to the world right now that if you like someone's work and you want your portfolio to look like theirs, you study their work and you copy. You already know all your fundamentals and ins and outs. Don't be ashamed of copying your favorite artist, it really pays off.

I've met so many beginning artists who put themselves down and go, "it's not real art because I used a reference :(" like nO

Seriously, references are CRUCIAL! Where did the notion that referencing was cheating come from?

I love that youre speedy and energetic. I can't pay attention to people who talk about nonsense for half an hour before the video even starts. Bless
