Mr. Dyson: I have listened to Bethena played numerous times, but I found your version is simply perfect.
Most people only know Joplin from the movie, thus Maple Leaf Rag. But I believe Joplin's greatest rag is Bethena. Its opening is very much like the reverse of Maple Leaf Rag.
You surely must love ragtime and Joplin's wonderful invention. The sheer love shown by your technique is amazing.
Such clipped fingering reminds me of Glenn Gould.

Finally, Last year I found out the name of this piece and then found the sheet music. What a wonderful style Mr Dyson has. It is just a perfect version. I bookmarked this video and hope I can one day, play it almost as good as he has done. Bravo, Signor Dyson.
