You just saved my whole fridge/freezer full of food, and the price of a new refrigerator! I took the back off, and found a paper towel that had been sucked into the fan. Removed it, and the fan started right up! As a much older woman with a bad back, I never would have tried this--or even known to--without your video. Thank you, thank you!

Great Video - Had the middle panel heating up very very hot on us. Removed the back cardboard and guess what I found? The fan was just lying there on the floor on the fridge. Popped it back on, power the fridge on and BAM, fan working as intended. Such a SIMPLE SIMPLE fix. Prob saved about 100-200 bucks to have someone come look at it. BRAVO MATE BRAVO (and thanks)

Thank you! I had cleaned the coils but the fan wasn't spinning because a grocery store receipt had wedged its way into the fan. Thank you!

Thank you SO MUCH!! Saw the fan wasn’t blowing any air. I went to clean the coils by vacuuming the dust off them and BOOM the fan kicked on and only turned off due to a killswitch from thermal throttling (hence the dust disallowing the heat to radiator from the coils). The compressor was hot and now it’s not after the fan was able to cool it down. Thanks again!!

Thanks for this video. My 26 year old side by side Kenmore refrigerator (in the garage) was having some cooling issues. The center wall strip was getting hot. Didn't know the evaporator coil was cleaned from the front grill.

Great tip, thank you! That was exactly my problem, along with some pretty dirty coils. The replacement motor was nearly $200 (cheaper than a new fridge!), and was a fairly easy install. Just watch out for the orientation of the electrical connector when you reinstall the motor.

Awesome video man. Exactly what I needed. I actually have a whirlpool that has that front access to the coil. Fixed my issue immediately!

Awesome video. Many thanks! Just in case someone else runs into this, my condenser fan had a physical blockage (hitting the condenser - the fan blade had worked its way off.) I replaced the motor and blade, but it wouldn't kick on. Mine will only kick on when the compressor starts up. I was thinking it would be on all times. I was afraid it blew up the controller somehow. It was controlled by the same relay as the compressor. I just had to be patient. I also had to swap and solder the connector from my $27 Amazon special. You saved me a crap load of money. You are the man!!!

Thank you. The fan and coils around the fan had an inch of dust. I used a toothbrush to remove all the dust with a vacuum cleaner. So far, my refrigerator has been running good for 7 hours.

Thanks for the video. Mine was scolding hot. Pulled it out from the wall and the vent was completely clogged. This damn house is a dust magnet from hell for some reason. Anyways after cleaning the vent I pulled the metal plate off the bottom back to check the inside. The coils weren't too bad but the fan is busted. Looks like cheap plastic. A blade crack off right from the center and the whole thing was completely off the shaft - guess that explains a lot. I popped a 5" USB fan in there as a temporary fix. Gonna see if I can super glue this fan back together. But I have ZERO faith that it will hold - super glue doesn't seem to be what it used to be when I was growing up.
