How Jeff Lutz Jr Changed My Life: When I Learned How To Fabricate!(Among Many Other Things)

Jeff Lutz Jr is one of the biggest reasons why I am the person I am today for numerous reasons... The biggest reason and topic of todays video is how I first learned how to TIG weld. Jeff Sr and Jr both played huge roles in showing me what could be done in the racing world by some dudes from Butler Pennsylvania. I made this video more about Jr since I spent much more time around him and he taught me most of this stuff. Stuff his dad taught him too. I couldn't be more grateful for the role of the Jeffs and entire Lutz Race Cars crew in my story. Go check out their channel too @lutzracecarspgh. Jeff Jr is posting more videos on their shenanigans recently.

I like how you're a really good storyteller when you're saying stuff it's almost like I can see it happening

I love stories like this. People/kids don't realize that simply hanging out with someone "cool" can open so many doors. Your story is just like Garrett asking Kyle for a job. I hung out at local body shops as a kid, just offering to sweep floors. But the stuff you learn just hanging around is invaluable. I'm now one of the best GM techs locally.

Hey Stapleton you talk about “passing the torch” and I think that you making these videos such as working on your motor coach, making a simple weld, so on so forth but doing these things is touching the minds of so many people and triggering thing in they’re mind just like lutz junior and his dad did with you! I feel like that is passing the torch! I love watching your content and I am a new subscriber because of RMRW 2.0 and I’m really glad I did follow you. I feel like I am so similar in the way you do things. I walk into somewhere and look at things and wonder how it was done or made and I apply every bit of knowledge I have learned from either hands on, books, VIDEOS!! Just like yours and everyone else’s, into my everyday life of doing stuff. Bro your an inspiration!

My mom made kind of a throw-away comment about 20, 25 years ago when she heard I was looking for a new television- “ you’re too poor to buy cheap.”
I never forgot that, and it’s informed every major purchase I’ve made since then.
Those little moments are huge.

Passing on info is the best way to teach someone IMO. I'm 50 and strive to learn or do something new everyday. And pass those learnings on to my boys. Great job! ✌️🇺🇸🦅

At such a young age that you are, well educated and very respectful, most of all very understanding as to what and how to handle learning and taking it and making it something other then just learning it to say I did that and I can do that! Self taught, self driven is a lost art honestly! Good job Sir, keep it up as I'm sure you will!

Very cool story. And for you to be lucky enough to have those guys teach you those things is priceless. There are a ton of people that would kill to have 10% on that knowledge! Keep up the great videos, I’m diggin the shit out of them. Very awesome story

Really enjoyed this story. Brings back memories of my uncle, he taught me a lot. A lot more than he ever knew. To him he wasn't doing anything special, and at the time I didn't think what he was doing anything beyond the call of duty. But now that I'm older I realize that knowledge is PRICELESS. He had so much knowledge in his big head it was second nature to him to teach me. Love these types of videos. Thanks so much for sharing.
Take care, be safe, and have fun regardless.

You're going to make it big young man! I've been welding over 35years and trying to help people anytime I can and you did the right thing and learned how to do it instead of getting someone else to do it for you. Keep this attitude and you'll be driving that new bus in no time!

Hey Stapleton, Everything you said in this, and a lot of other videos, boils down to RESPECT. I have the most respect for those who appreciate what others do or have done for them. I'm older and have noticed that the younger guys just don't show respect to others like they use to. They act like everything is owned to them, when the fact is that you earn the chance to be taught, and should be very grateful to get the chance to be taught. Which is something you do all the time. You've talked about how much you appreciate what others do for you and what you can pass along, and that is just one of the things that I love about your videos. As far as passing your experiences on to others, you are doing just that with every video that you put out. Can't wait to see and watch what your next project is going to be. Keep them coming. Later

Between the Cooper video and this one I can take away a couple things.

1. Go for it!
2. Don’t be afraid to meet new people and get outside your friend group.
3. If you don’t ask you won’t learn or find out the info you want to know.
4. There is a way to get out of the cycle your in and make your life enjoyable.
5. Life is crazy and awesome!

I know this is random and off the wall, and I am several people would agree that it would be awesome to spend a couple days with you just learning and seeing what you do.

I really appreciate you and how you're willing to share everything you've learned with everyone. I learn every time I watch one of your videos. Even when I'm watching for fun, by the time you're signing off, I've learned something. Thank you!

G"Day Mitchell, its been a while and I have started re-watching your life stories and what made you, at the start of the year I re-hurt myself at work, another major back injury, even after a week in hospital and then a week off I decided to want to be back at work, but working out the hard way its going to be different, very different, after talking to a couple people you learn what makes you, my thing at 54 years old is I have a way of passing on knowledge, this my friend is the hardest thing, currently I am unable to do the work I would normally be doing, currently its all very light duty, but when I get into helping of showing how to do stuff it makes me feel better like I have made a mark on this world, please do what makes the flame stay alive, I love all the videos yourself and Logan are doing, for a laugh its currently 4 am watching your videos and thinking, great distraction helps watching you guys and gives me a bit of time not thinking of the constant pain. Thumbs up and keep the dream alive,
