My neighbor actually done this a dance routine well before the new movie of matilda, she was the girl who had to get swung around by her plaits, she refused for the hair so they done it with hands but made it look like hair
Let's give her and her dance class a well done for being able to perform a 90 minute show at the age 7-8

Funny story about this! My theater did Matilda once, and this scene was my favorite! We make a really quick transition from our Amanda to a doll that looked like her, so she wouldn’t get hurt. But one night, our Mrs Trunchbull threw the doll so hard, it got stuck in the light It eventually fell down on stage and I can’t tell you how difficult it was to stay in character! Especially when I was Matilda 😅

Our trunchbull broke character on stage, he had to run off stage cause he started laughing.😂
