As Winter NAMM 2020 approaches, tons of rumors are circulating about Kemper and what they may be releasing. Here are 3 New Kempers I think we will see at NAMM or sometime in the future!

I say strip it down even more and make just a loadable Kemper stomp pedal with no effects. Just room for a few rigs and a send/return for 4CM. Like a Strymon Iridium, but with Kemper profiles instead of proprietary amp sims.

To me the Stage is the perfect form factor. I sold all my pedals (including a big sky, time factor, pog2, and jetter jet drive, ) and now use Kemper effects exclusively now. I threw it on a pedal board along with a tuner, expression pedal, and several external dual switches for additional control. I’ve never been happier with my setup and it’s the least expensive setup I’ve had in 10 years!

Solid predictions. Would love the Tesla / Kemper integration. I want a cyber truck! Haha

VST would be the best possible thing. I just have it plugged in my computer all the time and I just use the editor, I don't even touch the unit. The best thing would be to have that, but inside the daw, where you could maybe record DI and then recall profiles from the unit and all that. That would be amazing.

I want a stereo kemper so bad. That's on the top of my list for sure. I do think they could also get the technology itself into an ultra-small package if they wanted to .. even smaller than your proposal if it's mostly controlled by a remote app. The only reason they probably won't is because it would probably have to be under $600 and it's the only thing they would sell. Its a gamble.. it would open the door to a lot of new customers, but would it make up for the lost profit compared to $1, 800 units?

Kemper Mini as a profile player only would be a big hit, I think. All the effects and load any profile you want without the profiling capability that most don't use.

Mini kemper would be interesting. I know a few guys who use a kemper mainly but, for fly rigs have switched to a hx stomp.

I would like a ruggedized kemper mini with even fewer buttons that can be programmed via the PC software loaded with only the profiles for a live performance

Dude!!! Making it compatible with an iPad would be epic! oh more drives.

I have to agree with looking at the editor more than my actual Kemper. The only reason I NEED to look at my Kemper is for the tuner. If the editor had access to a tuner feature I could leave my rack away from my desk. Add in the option of wireless connectivity (older units could use the Ethernet port with a router possibly?) and I wouldn’t need to look at my Kemper at all.

Very interested to see if the Quad Cortex will beat out the Kemper in capture tech.

They’re gonna lose a ton of share to Strymon and Line 6 if they don’t make a mini.

How about a Stage with a built in expression pedal?

Hi HW, you briefly mention the Kemper Kone technology& the Celestion story. The Kemper Kabinet was announced at NAMM 2019 for the second quarter of 2019, but didn’t appear until the Andertons video much later where Christoph didn’t say anything tangible about the release date. I’d like to understand why they’re so vague about the KK (matter of priority, technical problems?) and if they can make us a promise as to when the KK will actually be released now that it’s a year later than last NAMM. Can’t wait... Thanks for your great vids!

Would buy the mini kemper right away - even if I use my Axe3 most of the time. Just sometimes it is so nice to have access to all those profiles. Damn... I would LOVE a Kemper Plugin!

Love the passion!! Is the new editor out or only the beta version?

Running two profiles left and right is the only thing I miss on the Kemper!

Here are my thoughts why very little of this is on the table:
1. They are arrogant and suppose they know better than their customers. For instance, for years people have asked for an editor and their support once just emailed me and told me to go buy a an AxeFx! How long did it take them to create the foot pedal? How long did their competitors have floor units before they brought out the Stage?
2. They have no quality control. The stage leaked out because someone was seen in a photo carrying it around and then it would seem, rushed out. Since launch the forum is full of comments about broken buttons and complaints of issues. Till they can actually get this working why would they bring out anything else?
3. They are understaffed. For as long as I have had a Kemper they have never had a deadline they could not miss. The delays and reverbs (which I think took a year each) and now the editor (which is still a beta with serious bugs on the performance side). If they can't get everything working on one Kemper properly I can't image how long it would take to get it working on two at the same time!!! And, anyone remember the Kone speaker thing? They haven't been able to produce a simple wooden box with a speaker and some basic software let alone three whole new units!
