Guys / ladies, These LED components are various on voltage and current. If you replace it with wrong (smaller) then you will have it short life. So it is not that easy to replace it with any chip. They have to be matched.

Here is a problem, because LED Strip usually have 3V LED`s and LED Bulb - usually have 9V LED.

If you drill a few tiny holes in the light diffuser, it will help the leds cool and they will work longer.I do that on every bulb in my home.
