11-Year Old Nigerian Simplifies Coding

Joshua Agboola is a young tech genius who started coding at the age of six.

Joshua displayed his rare brilliance at nine when he created a website for his school single-highhandedly.

Now at eleven, he is turning out to be one of the finest software engineers around.

Gist Nigeria is a 30-minute current affairs programme, co-produced by Channels Television and the BBC. The program offers in-depth reporting, focusing on stories behind the news and their impact on its audience.

Stop throwing the title "engineer" around anyhow. It cheapens it.
Do you people know what software engineering entails? Being able to write a few lines of code doesn't make you an engineer. HTML, CSS, JS, is like 5%. The remaining 95% include: scripting, Web server, OS, DB, cloud computing, DNS, mail server, etc.

Even most people that claim to be coders, just modify what we call OPC (other people's code).
