well, Atike was angry because Kosem Sultan kept supporting Ibrahim while he wasted all the taxes and assaulted women. Kosem Sultana The great Valide Sultan didn't kill her son Murad IV, he died of cirrhosis she was not power hungry at all. She killed Ibrahim bcuz he was a mad king and people were fed up from him didn't know how to rule so she had to execute him for the sake of the betterment of empire. One thing I appreciate. Atike looks like Kosem when she still went by Anastasia. It bothered me that She didn't have the same hair anymore when they switched actresses. You could even tell she went from defined curls to formed girls. I just pretend she dyed her hair to fit in better and then her daughter inherited her natural hair
