Another explanation: The first boy you see is Sehzade Mehmet, Kosem’s Oldest Biological Son gets killed by the third boy Osman, Kosem’s stepson. Osman was trates very well but ended up backstabbing Kosem unfortunately. The second boy we see is Sultan Murad, Kosem’s Biological Son. He died because he got poisoned by Kosem for the sake of the WHOLE ENTIRE dynasty. The third boy, Sultan Osman as you know is Kosem’s Eldest Stepson. He gets killed because of Sultan Ahmet’s brother, Sultan Mustafa’s mother, Halime Sultan. Halime Sultan orders for Sultan Osman to be killed by the jannisaries. For the sake of Mustafa’s rule which barely lasts a few months. The fourth boy is Sehzade Kasim, he gets killed by Sultan Murad for the throne. The first girl is Geveherhan Sultan, she commits suicide because of her younger sister Atike (in my opinion Atike is a spoiled brat). Atike married the love of Geveherhan. The fifth and final boy is Sultan Ibrahim, he gets killed by Kosem in the show but in real life his wife Turhan kills him. ( I hate Turhan for killing Kosem as she was my favorite). The last person, Atike doesn’t die until a while but she leaves her mother. All of this happens because of one curse Kosem took when Late Sultan Ahmet was ill. For Sultan Ahmet to get better, she met a witch who says Kosem will have to walk on fire and see all her loved ones die in front of her eyes to save Ahmet. As you can tell, she ends up agreeing because of how bad she loves Ahmet. If you read this all, thank you!
