That's a nice, compact kit that covers all of the basics. Since I work out of my truck, I've always got full M3 bag medical kit and a tool bag about twice that size with me. I also carry a smaller IFAK, trauma kit, and tool/survival kit on a riggers belt along with my GHB in the back of the truck.

My edc is simple, a folder and a SAK. If I’m gonna need more I grab my tool box. A must when I visit my kids! Sometimes this requires a 5 gal bucket filled with other things as well!

I have used the liner lock version of the workpro for a while great loaner, I also keep one in each of my vehicles in a secure location with a hook blade as a seat belt cutter, the button lock will be taking it place since it can be used one handed.

Hello Gideon not that anyone cares but I carry a Milwaukee pen light and a Swiss Army evo with scissors/ Philip head screw driver. Nice kit you got there!

Have you ever checked out any Rolling Square chargers like the InChargeX 6-in-1? Very handy, imo. It has USB A, C, Micro, and Lightning, all in a very compact size. I replaced all my separate charging cables with one of these, and it saved me a ton of room in the Maxpedition mini I carry.

A really dangerous clip - for my wallet. A lot of new ideas. 😃 I didn't know about the Niteize gear ties until now. I'll definitely take a look at the Klein tools, too. Thanks for the presentation.

Germans pronounce the i in Knipex as you did with the i in verdict. It's just a short e-sound, we don't have the ay-sound for Knipex. In Germany, we say Knipex (k-nee-pecks) instead of knaypecks. And yes, the little Knipex is really handy, fits in every pocket and you have it always on hand when you need to fasten something. Combine it with a Victorinox and you are prepared for 80% of all daily tasks. Nice kit btw.

Kuh-nip-x is the correct pronunciation.
There’s even a fun t-shirt they sell with the phonetics on it.
Good stuff as always!

I’m still rockin’ my “Man Purse” a Old Craftsman 10” tool bag. When it comes to needing light weight minimal tool set I use a tool pouch from the enduro/dual sport world from Klim. Apx. 10”x5”x2” made to utilise exterior pack straps but easily slips into what ever pack I’m using. My basic med kits are still separate though I would like to combine them with my trama kits. Think I got the idea from you years ago to transition for black kits to Color Coded pouches which has made them much easier to find. But I’m “Old School” my main tool bag blade is still a Boker Titan from the 440c days...lol

Anker makes a 3-in-1 cable that does Micro USB, USB-C and Lightning with a single cable. Might make more room in the pouch. I have those triple charge cables everywhere like my EDC bag, in the truck, in the emergency bag, etc.

I gotta hand it to ya, the tool setup sure seems to hit all the right buttons. Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it and appreciate it.

Walmart has a 3 in 1 charger that has micro usb, iPhone, and usb-c..they normally are in the check out isles…I carry those in my kits to cut down on bulk..

It’s large but I do like it. I particularly like those three large pockets (the ones that fit your Anker backup power supply).

Great EDC system. Very well though. I carry almost 60% of the stuff you have in yours. This video will definitely help me upgrade my pouch. Thanks

90% a bad idea. The largest the bag the more likely it will be left at home. When I need first aid, I need first aid and no distraction of other gear. One bag is only suitable if you carry the pouch in a backpack, too much weight for a shoulder bag, too big for cargo pocket.
