Iran's Supreme Leader: Military Action Is 'Not Enough'

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a televised address on Wednesday that his country had given the U.S. a “crushing response” to the killing of Soleimani and called for an end to the U.S. presence in the region.

Iran fired more than a dozen missiles at U.S.-Iraqi airbases, a direct attack on American forces in the region that risks further action from President Donald Trump after a U.S. airstrike killed top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani last week.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for the barrage, which the Pentagon said was launched from Iran, and warned that additional operations were being prepared. At the same time, there were signs that both sides wanted to pull back from the brink of conflict, with Iran’s foreign minister saying his country didn’t wish to go to war, and Trump pronouncing that “All is well.”

Host of interesting obligations that plays both ways in this kind of Alliance. Interestingly how Both US and Israel use Iran as a cover up for the Occupation of the Palestinians.

Israel has taken from the US a blank cheque for the Occupation of the Palestinian People because it claims to be the front line state to block Iran's ambitions in the Region.

That's a very interesting maneuver that Netanyahu pioneered when he was 1st Prime Minister in the 1990s
He began to lift up Iran as a great threat and blind people to Israel's role in the Occupation by deflecting and always talking about Iran like they do with Hamas .

In Netanyahu's speeches in the US Congress, he comes there to talk about the Iranian threat, he doesn't say a word about Palestinians, this duplicitous nature of the kind of commentary that people like Netanyahu and other elements of the Israel Ruling class that provides cover for the Occupation of the Palestinian People.
