how to diy a tile table! (step by step tutorial)

these tiles tables are so popular right now and can cost up to 2k. all together I spent $30 on the table, $58 at home depot for all of the tile equipment needed, and $54 for 2 boxes of tile. all in all I spent about $142 on this table! tiling starts at 2:34

what you will need:
- tile adhesive
- 2x2in white tiles
- adhesive spreader
- adhesive trowel
- unsanded grout
- float
- grouting sponge
- small bucket
- paper towels
- some sort of plastic/cardboard to protect floors (we used an old town and cut up trader joe bags)

*i got EVERYTHING at home depot besides the tile!*

Great job! One pro tip from a tiler: instead of pushing one tile at i time into the thinset - use the float to cover a larger area and make the smaller tiles more even surface

A year in review question. How are the vertical surfaces doing? Have any tile pulled away? We have an ikea buffet with a similar finish we want to tile but I’m worried about the tile sticking to the vertical surfaces. Great looking table!!!
