If you live in hot area during day and cold during night, you must wet or spray the back of tiles before install it or submerge into water for half and hour. The water that stick in micro pores of tile act as vehicle for cement mixture to penetrate into micro pores on the back of tile to create strong bond.

You can actually see where you keyed in the substrate past the tile where the subfloor concrete looks quote-unquote painted with thinset, great job!
