Boeing plans to cut 17,000 jobs globally. Boeing's new CEO Kelly Ortberg, who has only been in the post since August, unveiled the changes on Friday (October 11). These announcements comes as 33,000 workers have been on strike in Seattle for a month. They are demanding an increase in salaries and pension. I think a company that puts its profits before its customers safety, should be made to pay for its audacity. I feel sorry for its workers and contractors though. It wasn'y their decision to cut corners. That management decision.

They should not of tried to bankrupt Bombardier. They should not of tried to keep the CSeries A220 out of the market.
