I love that Zach does a 20 minute video of telling people he doesn't know the answer to their questions over and over again

I love this format of bird song questions, then answers. Thanks Zach!

Awesome content as always! We put in at boundry at 2ft. got a late start had a moderate crew popped a boat on the second or third turn. Got to camp late and crew was beat. "well guys, only 86 miles left to go" Hell of a time, I agree on the class IV rating too.

Zac, perfect timing, and very reasonable recommendations. I've waited more than 20 years for a middle fork trip. In the past have had to cancel a high water early season trip because the crew was clearly not strong enough. Again this year signed up for early season trip, and once again on high alert. Will be following your suggestions: boating practice and watching the numbers. Thanks

Zac always makes a good point about someone saying they did so and so river, are they good to row this or that river. I️ know folks that have had perfect lines and are amazing boaters on big class IV, and I️ also know folks that bounce down every rapid and it looks sketchy on a class IV section. Being honest with yourself is much better than ended up on a multi day section of river and not being in your boat, or worse, losing a bunch if gear, because you couldn’t make a move at the crux of a rapid.

Also, Zak mentioned going out and rowing before you do your big multi day trip. Great advice for everyone. I️ make sure to get a few days on the water before I️ help with guide school, and I’m much safer because of that (since new boaters do sketchy stuff).

I agree, Indian down is great. But I will always want Boundary down, would be sad to miss it.
