Our Future with Robots Event - Faculty and Industry Expert Panel Discussion

More than 100 faculty, students, and industry professionals came together on December 3 to consider “Our Future with Robots,” the launch event for Northwestern Engineering’s Center for Robotics and Biosystems. The event included this panel discussion featuring center faculty and robotics experts. The panel was moderated by Rob Wolcott, co-founder and chairman of The World Innovation Network. Panelists included Brenna Argall, associate professor of computer science, mechanical engineering, Feinberg School of Medicine, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab; Mitra Hartmann, professor of biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering; Dan Linna, Jr, Director of Law and Technology Initiatives; Mark Mills, senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of "Work in the Age of Robots"; and Todd Murphey, professor of mechanical engineering.
