Novella recs: Below by Laurel Hightower, The Laws of the Skies, Gone to See the River Man, Goddess of Filth, and Scanlines were all ones I really enjoyed!

If you want a day of reading sad, soul-crushing horror novellas I highly recommend Crossroads by Laurel Hightower and Mapping the Interior by Stephen Graham Jones. They're short and easy to read, but very emotional!

Yes please to a novella/short story video! I'm always on the look out for more as sometimes my attention span doesn't last for a full novel! I'm also starting to get into horror plays (not screenplays; just those written as a drama), so if you can recommend any of those, that would be great!

Not book related, but I'd really be interested in a "tour" of your t-shirt/hoodie collection! I've seen some when you've got them as presents, but you seem to have a great collection of horror film, bookish and place/travel ones.

Stephen King's Full Dark No Stars is my all-time favorite novella collection. All 4 stories were a 5 star for me. Curious to hear what you would think of the stories.

Y’all stolen tongues was read as a full audio book by the podcast no sleep podcast season 7 episode 18-21. They did an amazing job and the author is a writer for the show!

I highly recommend The Mist novella by Stephen King, also part of the collection Skeletons Crew; the movie is fantastic too and has one of the darkest endings ever (unlike the novella's ending), which Stephen King LOVED.

Cursed Bunny is the only thing I haven't read, but your enthusiasm is selling me on it. Yes to novellas! I'm working on LaRocca's newest as well as The Lunchling. Always love a good novellas between big reads.

Thanks to you I read Stolen Tongues and it immediately became my favorite. I definitely recommend Winterset Hollow since you like books where the action happens in the woods/woodsy area, and it's written beautifully.
