I know this isn’t what the song is about but some of the lyrics remind me of the sort of cultural disconnect between some kids and their parents “Oh, you don't know me 'cause I'm from a different age “. Some parents don’t know how to talk to their kids or kids don’t know how to talk to their parents. Some adults would disregard kids because they are from a different age

This song... made me remember the time when my family and I went to Nikko, Japan. We briefly lived in a apartment-like staycation for tourist. I believe the area is literally next to Tobu World Square. There's like an abandoned small village with a mini play ground (some house units aren't abandoned.) I saw several broken windows and empty house. Some grass within the interior of the house. I looked it up on google map and it felt like a different place. Maybe because the googlemap shows elder couple sitting at the bench near the mini playground and the place doesn't feel like it's abandoned. No visible damage to each house unit. The place is alive. I remember walking through that small village at night. My family are scared bevause of possible ghost sightings but me? I was wondering who lived in the abandoned units and what happened to them. I'm happy to see the place alive on google map (hoping that's the case). For uknown reason, this song brought me back to that place, walking at night.
