Hong Kong switched lights off and took part in Earth Hour 2019

Paris's Eiffel Tower (top right), Berlin's Brandenburg Gate (bottom right), Moscow's St Basil's Cathedral (bottom left) and Hong Kong's VIctoria Harbour (top left) are among the famous locations observing the global blackout between 8.30 and 9.30 tonight. Millions of ordinary households are also expected to turn off their lights to send a message to world leaders who they demand front up to protect the Earth, according to the WWF.
