Don't do it. I did it, it was hell.. to this day I regret it. I saw dead bodies just walking by them like it was nothing, half the time i was half out of it because I was way into the death zone, one guy fell and broke his neck that year, I got to the point where making decisions was almost non existent because I was just like a zombie moving forward not really knowing why at times. As I heard before, getting to the top is optional, getting down is mandatory.

Reinhold Messner in 1980 solo climbed Mt Everest in 3 days from Base camp without supplemental oxygen! He even self rescued after a fall into a crevasse! He climbed all 14 8000 meter peaks! The first to do so....all without supplemental O2. Amazing Man. His story is extraordinary!

My opinion people Should have to qualify with Health and Physical tests before attempting I can almost guarantee most people qualify financially over physicality 😢

Noooo, I *NEVER* said I wanted to climb Everest. What I said was whatever makes *ANYONE* lose their mind and make *THEM* want to climb Everest. Me? I've always had the good sense to *NOT* want to climb a mountain of snow, ice and rock.

Mount Kinabalu is 4, 000 meters above sea level, and most climbers already feel weakness and headaches when climbing 3, 500 meters.. 😊

I met people who were at IAD years ago when I worked for the airlines. They were enoute to Mt Everest to climb it. The (4) people said they anticipated taking them almost 15 days to Sumit it depending on the scheduling of the groups and timing of the day they get there 😮.
