My wife always joked that one of those fallen trees would be an amazing place to hide a dead body. Just pop them in the big hole, and cut the tree with a chainsaw and the "plug" would plop back in to hide the body forever.

At least, I think she was joking...

As a matter of fact this is a great place to hide if you are new to the woods and playing hide and seek.
Just dont do it in shorts and a tshirt. Might get some friends

theres a fast way of telling if a root system like that is stable enough for shelter, go and jump on the log itself, if it recoils upwards at all, dont sleep under there

Also never go under a freshly fallen tree, there has been instances when the trunk break and the roots come back over. Everyone in sweden learns this and i pray no one learns it the hard way

I love how you are just showing us a cool spot for a D&D encounter and the whole comment section is like "There's spiders there, your gonna die if you go near that freshly fallen tree" My god what a world we live in. Time to go play D&D.

Great place to find snakes and spiders.

It's pretty obvious that you don't know much about trees
