This is what an average Wednesday looks like for one of our intern strength coaches, Haley Palmer. With some input from the GAs, we take you through a full day from getting up to going to bed.
Daily duties for our coaches include coaching, programming, professional development, cleaning, and more. The goal of this video is to give people interested in the field of strength and conditioning a realistic look at what they are in for.
Strength and conditioning position duties range widely depending on your specific assignment or specialty, but while working your way up to the top, it’s likely that you will have an intern position at a college or university.
We hope this helps you!

There are studies who found that lifting before ~9am has higher risks of injury. Mostly because the athletes are tired and not rested well enough. Would appreciate to hear your take on this?
