I'm moving from Sky Q to Apple TV 4K, Launcher and Now TV, in good part to thanks to your videos, so thank you. Main reason I 'm moving is to get away from Sky's high monthly charges, they've just anounced that they are going up again in Novemeber. I now have until the end of the month to play with the new setup, so still in test and try mode. However I seem to have a problem with the TV Launcher in that while I can scroll back to see what has already been broadcast, if I select a program from say 2 hours earlier the appropriate app launches but all I get is the current live TV not the previously broadcast programme, am I missing a setting somwhere? btw I tried iPlayer, itv X, etc. and they all played the current live program 🤔

Having moved from Sky Q to sky stream, I also have Apple TV and the Amazon cube, the one thing I miss more than any other is recordings of new shows being automatically added to my device. The sky stream playlist function sort of gives something like this, showing your favourite shows and when new episodes are available, but the Apple TV and Amazon cube have nothing, you have to know yourself what series your watching, when new episodes are out and then go find them. This is a huge step backwards for me, why do I have to remember or know everything about new episodes, why can’t these devices aggregate that for me. Like I say, sky stream does it ok to a point, not all apps work with it….this area needs the most work on all devices by far.

Sky, really have done a good job with sky stream in my opinion, though this app looks great for the price, my only reservation and same with sky stream, as long as third party apps do not pull support, then it looks like a great second room option as well. Really well explained as well thank you…

Hi there, just wondering if you could help? with the now subscription for the sky movie channels, you normally have to pay for the now “boost” do you still need that when using the Apple TV set up? Or is it already 4k with the box?

You could save ya self £4.99 and just use the free view app on your iPad which does the same all you need to do is airplay to Apple tv does the same but opens the app on your iPad which you just airplay without opening the stream app on the tv

I noticed that when you launched the "W" channel it opened the UKTV Play app but didn't start playing or give you the option to start playing. I am having this issue with any content that uses the UKTV Play app. Is this something you are finding?
