As a visually impaired person I had sky because it gave me the widest choice of channels especially regional T.V. in the UK as I live in England, but wanted to watch NI T.V. Sky is great for choosing whatever region you want. I also liked it for recording, not just programmes, but also the radio programmes as well without the time limit imposed by BBC sounds etc. My problem has always been keeping it functioning, as my T.V. has been working longer, and has seen several SKY boxes come and go since I get it about 2011? SKY are great for advertising themselves, but not so good when it comes to answering detailed questions about how the system works and how to get the best from it etc. The cynic in me says: it is just to extract as much money from you as it possibly can! Great when it is working well, frustrating when not working as it should.

It doesn’t have all channels available in sky. National geographic have been removed means that documentary channels are not there
