How to Wire a Horn Relay Circuit EASILY in your Car / Truck / Motorcycle / ATV / Dirt Bike

In this video, I explain how to wire a set of horns into any vehicle that you want. This is the way that I like to wire horns because it uses a negative trigger wire. This is beneficial because you don’t need to run any power wire into the interior of the vehicle, just a ground. This makes building this circuit easier and safer.

Hi, Thank the Lord for this site! The diagrams are a god send. Car electrical wiring has previously been a frightening mystery to me the diagrams make it so easy to understand and illustrate. This is now my go to site for assistance with wiring issues - thanks guys.

It’s 1:30AM. I have no idea why I’m awake or what the heck landed me on this video, but here I am.

I dont know how often you read comments, but I'm loving your content. Thank you.
I think your style of explanation and wonderful usage of displays is perfect.
I wish you had a "parasitic draw" testing/diagnosing video. Some of the videos out there are scattered and hard to follow.

Love the old school diagram. Do not change a thing. This is the way it should be, hands on real world. Thank you for doing this.

Great video. Super clear explanation and made my install WAY easier. Thank you. I was missing pin 30 splice on my install and racking my brain to figure it out. Horns are working and now a much safer vehicle. I'm finishing at 2am. After almost having a dump truck change lanes without looking and crush me. Horns needed immediately. Thankfully my old Jeep is loud and he heard that but Horns are much better than exhaust 😊

Thanks again. Killer videos as always

Hi Jeremy! Just wanted to come on and say that this video helped me successfully wire a horn to an old BMW of mine, where the original system went haywire and I wasn’t able to diagnose why. I used your set up to wire the switch on the ground side, and basically bypassed the original wiring, and it worked like a charm! This was holding me up from getting the car to pass state inspection, so thank you! 🙏

My comment is you need to mention Wire Gauge, fuse size . I have watched horn and turn signal and no mention of these important details.
Besides that THANK YOU !
I way over think these circuits you Reign in my over thinking!

Hi Jeremy. Thx for the video, you should have mentioned why you need to use a Relay, it helps to POWER UP and it sends a more powerful and consistent 12V charge to the horn, without the Relay, the horn will sound like it’s dying or a cow in Heat !!! 👍🏻

Thankyou for a simple diagram and instructions. I now have a set of working horns. Word of advice.... do not buy ready made wiring harnesses from China as they are wrong as i found out the hard way. This way is so much more gratifying.. cheers dude 👍👍🔥
