There is only one guitar that can do it all—introducing the reimagined Gibson Les Paul Studio, new for 2024, at a price point for working musicians like you.

Every musician has one guitar they love the most. The one they use to write all the riffs. The one that shreds as well as it strums. The one that sounds as good on stage as it does in the studio.

The Les Paul Studio is THE ONE.

You’ve never played a Gibson like this before. The new Gibson Les Paul™ Studio is here, built with features and a price point for working musicians like you.

For years, the Les Paul Studio has been the choice of countless guitarists who appreciate the combination of the essential Les Paul features – humbucking pickups, a glued-in, set neck, and a mahogany body with a maple cap – at an accessible price and without the flashier and more costly cosmetic features of higher-end Les Paul models.

Now, the Les Paul Studio has been refreshed for 2024 and is better than ever. It features an Ultra Modern weight-relieved mahogany body with a plain maple cap, a mahogany neck with a traditional heel, SlimTaper™ profile, and a bound rosewood fretboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and a pair of Gibson’s acclaimed Burstbucker™ Pro pickups wired to push/pull volume controls for coil tapping and individual tone controls for even more sonic options.

Available in a variety of gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finishes with matching trim, this is the essential Les Paul, refined and updated for today’s players. A soft shell case is also included to keep your guitar safe in transit, to and from gigs, studio sessions, and the stages of the world.

I remember when Studio meant a high schooler could buy it. I found a Norlin-era 78' 335 for 1300 (with a bigsby and a coil tap unmodded) and my bandmate bought the SG special for 799 and got a set of Seymour Duncans. To every young guitarist, look into Japanese copies and save your money.

literally nothing about this is a reimagining 😭

I have an older Studio and mine literally has all those things minus the fretboard binding.

I’ve been playing Les Paul’s for years, mostly standards, but I think I see a studio in my not too distant future.

I remember looking at the Les Paul Standard and thinking “Man thats way out of my price range” and ended up getting a Tribute which I thought was great, but then I said to myself..” if I could have just saved for a couple months I could easily afford a Standard and so for 6 months thats what I did and now I am an owner of a Beautiful Lemon burst with the most beautiful flame top, y’all can do it too 👍🏻

"For comfort"

Every time people try a fatter neck they say "oh, y'know this is actually more comfortable"

So it’s a “50’s Studio deluxe” but with a rosewood board and fret binding

I bought a 50’s standard and hated it. Got this studio in and it’s my favorite Gibson I’ve ever played short of a custom shop

Get rid of the fretboard binding and lower the price to 1000

Give us all the modern touches a Les Paul needs, like strat type body contours, better upper fret access and a snap proof headstock

What’s reimagined tho? The burstbuckers are an upgrade I believe and the push pull but y’all just slapped upgraded electronics in it. Idk I would have called it reimagined. I own a classic and love it, maybe reimagine the tuning stability tho? I struggle with that a lot while I’m writing.

Thanks Gibson! I’m super excited and I look forward to getting one! Nothing like a Les Paul.

Put binding on the body and stop with the weight relief. And don't tell me it would make the guitar more expensive because eliminating the cost of routing out the body would offset the binding costs. That's re-imagined.

😢😢😢I wish Gibson would offer the Honeyburst color in the lower price segments like they did with the Tribute. I think the argument that the cheap ones would then be too reminiscent of expensive models is a real shame.

People will complain about the price, but compared to the rest of their lines, it's fair.

Studios are almost always my favorite Les Pauls
