There is only one guitar that can do it all—introducing the reimagined Gibson Les Paul Studio, new for 2024, at a price point for working musicians like you.

Every musician has one guitar they love the most. The one they use to write all the riffs. The one that shreds as well as it strums. The one that sounds as good on stage as it does in the studio.

The Les Paul Studio is THE ONE.

You’ve never played a Gibson like this before. The new Gibson Les Paul™ Studio is here, built with features and a price point for working musicians like you.

For years, the Les Paul Studio has been the choice of countless guitarists who appreciate the combination of the essential Les Paul features – humbucking pickups, a glued-in, set neck, and a mahogany body with a maple cap – at an accessible price and without the flashier and more costly cosmetic features of higher-end Les Paul models.

Now, the Les Paul Studio has been refreshed for 2024 and is better than ever. It features an Ultra Modern weight-relieved mahogany body with a plain maple cap, a mahogany neck with a traditional heel, SlimTaper™ profile, and a bound rosewood fretboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and a pair of Gibson’s acclaimed Burstbucker™ Pro pickups wired to push/pull volume controls for coil tapping and individual tone controls for even more sonic options.

Available in a variety of gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finishes with matching trim, this is the essential Les Paul, refined and updated for today’s players. A soft shell case is also included to keep your guitar safe in transit, to and from gigs, studio sessions, and the stages of the world.

I wish they would reimagine the price😶‍🌫

i do like the fact that there is now binding on the neck, and i guess one could scrape their own round the body....a great work horse.
but i think at that price i would buy a used les paul standard off reverb as they are in the same price range.
but kudos to Gibson👍

Just wanted to hear the long haired dudes play some mean stoner rock riffs 🤷🏾‍♂️

Why binding on the neck? The LP studio is supposed to be a no frills guitar.

It's funny that Gibson doesn't know that this video personifies what's wrong with Gibson!

They tried this in 2019 and gave up on it. I bought one and love it. But Guitar Center was selling them for under $1000 with case!

I got my Wine Red Studio for my birthday last month. Great guitar. Plays, looks and sounds fantastic. ✌️

Tbf I thought they’d push 2k for these, so by time shops drop 300-400 off the map it’s studio price 😎

Is this a guitar ad or a trendy vodka ad? Maybe I need to watch it again.

A neck with binding, with an unbound body, is pretty awful to look at to be honest.
I never thought I’d dislike it so much, but here we are.

Una lástima que hayáis abandonado la gran idea de rebajar la zona trasera de unión cuerpo/mastil para facilitar el acceso a los trastes más altos.
Yo tengo una Gibson LP con esas características y estoy muy contento con esa prestación.

1, 818$ tax and shipping included and you don't even get a hardshell case?? I just bought a 2023 Modern in the graphite black all taxes included for a little over 1900$ and its speced out waaaay higher than this. Never buy new and just look for deals. You can get a used nice studio under a grand and just upgrade the pickups and save hundreds of dollars.

I figured they would be pricey, but I was definitely surprised to see $1599. The only LP Studio I ever bought new was $850. The years are slipping away faster than I would like lol.

I hate slim taper necks. Why not give at least 2 optional neck profiles?

Epiphone baby..read this...That's absolutely correct! Les Paul's vision for a solid-body electric guitar began taking shape with "The Log" in 1939-1941, in collaboration with Epiphone. "The Log" was essentially a 4x4 pine post with a neck and homemade pickups.

Les Paul's experimentation with "The Log" led to refinement and eventual partnership with Gibson Guitars. Gibson's Ted McCarty, influenced by Les Paul's design, created the iconic Gibson Les Paul model in 1952.

Key milestones:

1. 1939-1941: Les Paul and Epiphone develop "The Log."
2. 1941: Les Paul showcases "The Log" to Gibson, but they initially reject the idea.
3. 1952: Gibson, inspired by Les Paul's design, releases the first Gibson Les Paul model.

Your contribution highlights the significance of Les Paul's pioneering work and the evolution of the solid-body electric guitar!

Just got my new blueberry burst Studio about an hour ago! It is an awesome guitar! I think considering the price of everything else these days that it’s a relatively good deal. The bound fretboard is very nice and it even has fret nibs. I didn’t like the Burstbucker Pros in my SG Modern but they sound awesome in the Studio. This is a keeper!
