The mix we use consists of bar sand and a waterproofed cement. We never use plaster for this type of project.

Not sure where this project was located, but I would think in cold climate areas this would not work so well. Butting up tight to the floor joist leaves no room for expansion. Otherwise, the work looks nice and fresh. Wonder how long it willl remain this way. Love to see the same basement 5 years later and see the results.

I looked at a house and a portion of the basement walls were completely covered in what looked like cement but was very thick and had trowel marks as a design, not smooth like this. Is this normal waterproofing or is this guy trying to hide something?

Looks fantastic. Great Pro job from your company! Got a quick question, many places on the net say have to wait a month to cure to paint concrete. But I've seen you and another pro paint it within a few days. I'd like to patch my basement and paint within a few days. Is there something in the mix or is the 30 days cure thing overblown? Much appreciated.

I’m looking to do the job myself but was going to layer my walls with metal mesh than spread concrete. Why did u guy use the metal mesh ?
