International Physics Olympiad Problem from the IPhO 2007 Olympiad.
In this #shorts video the problem consists of finding the rate of change of mass of a black hole while considering its interaction with the cosmic microwave background radiation.
We use E=mc^2 and Stefan-Boltzmann's Law to find the rate of change of mass and find the mass at thermal equilibrium.
This problem is suitable for preparation for the International Physics Olympiad and hard entrance exams like the JEE Advanced, the PAT test for Oxford, Physics Olympiads. Hope this is useful!

Hey man, I lack knowledge since i'm still in last year of my highschool so my question might sound dumb but if we currently live in 4 diMensional World and 4th dimension is time then isn't every example we gave of 1, 2and3 dimension technically wrong since the concept of time doesn't exist in those dimensions but we give example within concept of time then doesn't that mean that every example that we gave of 1 dimension was technically 2 dimension and also can 5th dimensional beings travel in past and future because we can see that as dimension increases constants break. Did you ever plug in the CMB temperature to see what value of the mass is?
