here's what changes i would make for sally:

-she won't be able to spawn if you don't have any items;
-the window she's about to come from will get lit up gy guiding light for a brief moment, signifying sally is coming;
-a random item you have will start glowing and shaking in your inventory, serving as a hint that sally wants it;
-sally's jumpscare would be her jumping on you, and reaching into your pockets for the item that was glowing, so it's even more clear what sally wanted;
-if you drop the item to her voluntarily, she would play around with it for about 15s, and then give you the item back as a thank you for letting her play with it;
-and just like you said in the video, if you die to an entity shortly after getting hit by sally, guiding light will tell you that sally also damaged you, and that she wants to play with your items because she's bored.

I think what makes Sally a powerful entity is that it can take your items, adding another way to hide from her would be kind of making her useless. We all know in normal runs how broken our inventory gets, I can reliably bring a crucifix, a smoothie, a light source (lighter and candle or a flashlight), vitamins and lock picks to door 100, making it a complete joke (especially with the blue smoothie, which trivializes the whole thing by giving you x-ray). Sally is a way to combat this power creep, making things interesting. What items do you value more? Which one you need for the greenhouse or door 100? Do you really need those lock picks, or maybe the vitamins?

Sally might be a pain for hotel hell, but honestly all entities are, so nerfing it specifically for players who have a difficult time getting hotel hell doesn’t make sense to me.

For her spawn rate, I think it definitely should spawn at least one time per run, but 3-4 times would be too much if we keep her unavoidable if you don’t have items. Making entities spawn more regularly makes them boring after a while, so let’s not go overboard

The animation changes look interesting, so I do agree that a gradual fade away and an upgraded jump scare would be nice.

I think Sally should disappear like this, After taking an item and after they stop playing they jump out their broken window leaving with a little laugh

The developers should add more death messages for death combos or death by more than 1 entities. For eg:
"You're killed by screech again"
"I don't think that you've got enough time to look at it"
"Because you opened the wrong door and triggered Dupe"
"You've made it this far, keep going!"

I feel like Lsplash and other devs might be getting a bit annoyed with our constant complaining since floor 2.

I like the idea monsters added after release were in the Void before appearing in the hotel, e.g Dread and Dupe. Sally, however, can't be trusted to stay inside the Hotel without annoying Figure/Seek to the point of going ballistic, meaning she can only jump in every now and then to nab a new toy. Maybe she'll eventually be allowed to explore the Hotel fully, but for now it's like letting a kid mess about in a ball pit while you do something else and pull them out when you're done.

A cool little detail I think that would be nice for Sally's mechanic is animations for how she interacts with certain items. An example of this is the smoothie item. If it's the smoothie, maybe Sally could possibly play with it like a airplane and then drink it. If it's a light source like a flashlight. She could maybe flicker the item on and off. This would possibly help give the entity more emotion and variety, in my opinion.

I belive it'd be a good idea if an especific item always spawned in a room where Sally is about to spawn, like how the clock always spawn in room 49 even if you have out of stuff. This item would be a doll and always spawn on top of tables so it's easy to see. I dunno I just think giving more ways to counter to Sally is unnecessary

What if Sally stays rare, but after giving her an item and when the interact icon appears, you could interact with her to give her a piggyback ride for the rest of the floor. During this time, she tries to swat away any Screeches that appear. Guaranteed Screech protection could be kind of powerful, so it could be 50% of the time. It's not super useful as Screech is easily avoided, but it could be fun for the lore and having a companion for the run.

2:30 in my opinion a despawn animation could be where she runs back to the window and jumps through it despawning in the process

2:26 it seems like Cheddar is the only one who doesnt give Sally beer with the panel but instead a nice free soda that will give her night vision no wonder why she runs super fast in the dark without crashing anything

5:44 i honestly think their current mechanic of dropping an item is perfect and adding another counter for it without the need of an item would just cause plaeyrs fo actually never use the actual mechanic and always counter her without an item which completely undermines the really cool and unique mechanic of her since almost no one will ever use it
I think the entity should NOT spawn if u don't have any items that way people would still pick up items and drop em when they encounter Sally
Also since you can't die to Sally i think there should be a way of teaching her mechanics to the players
