Huh. I bought a dash camera that Scotty recommended. It's a total POS. My brother just bought an upgrade for his dash display from China. It works way better than the one that originally came with the car. It's just like finding an honest mechanic...it's mostly luck.

I believe China can produce good quality products, but right now it is 80% bad quality and 20% good quality and is totally up to us to continue buying or not

Buy a reputable brand like pioneer, alpine, or kenwood. Those three brands make the best.

I always avoid cheap Chines parts to get for my car. I always buy top of the line stuff that is not made in China. Never hurts to buy top of the line stuff despite being expensive but lasts a long time.

I used to work in a car audio install shop. Stick with Japanese systems like Alpine, Kenwwood, or Pioneer. Even Blaupunkt from Germany. Chinese junk is just that.

Mechanic pit a cheap Chinese made mass air flow sensor on my truck and the same issue came back after a month. So I went to the ford dealership to pick up a mass airflow sensor from there for my ranger and problem went away. NOT EVEN SENSORS are okay to cheap out on.

My Subaru had a lot of aftermarket Chinese displays that fit perfectly and came either the vents and everything for a 100 bucks. Take your chances mine works perfectly

the android player manufactured and sold in china right now doesn't even have that "box" behind anymore and is way much better quality
and i noticed most people just go for it because the price difference between china no brand vs branded is just way too big for people to choose branded

I agree with Scotty do your research first specially if it’s a car model Specific radio, some are plug and play, but definitely look at the specs of the processor speed and ram as well, I have mixed feelings with my experiences of these android radios

Still a good idea to buy a Bluetooth module and a stand-alone Android Auto unit to upgrade the existing radio. Less work and more flexibility.

If your car has a factory amp in the system than no it won’t connect to your speakers without the proper adapter because it’s not kicking on that amp. It’s not always the product but your lack of knowledge on the car
