That speech Jo Frost Gave Amanda when she decided to walk was very touching. I’ll always remember it because I’m a lot like Amanda and instead of facing my problems I’d leave them behind. I have now noticed while I’m getting older I have to deal with the problems I am faced with instead of waking away from them.

The older girls aren’t bad they’re just so hurt from the combined family and probably think they don’t belong and that breaks my heart for them

I think the mom kind of assumed that because her girls were older, they would be more mature and understanding so she felt like didn't need to talk to them when she remarried. But that just made the girls feel like she didn't care about them or how they felt.
