Coming from a guys who’s sold solar for over 4 years. Only thing I’d recommend is setting the correct intentions. You don’t want to come by just to drop off a report. You’ll typically get porched this way. You want to come back and go over the proposal with him inside the house. So setting the correct intention here is critical.

Do you guys not realize that he's just going door-to-door setting appointments creating a warm contact that way when he goes back with the information of how much he can save them on their electric bill he's gained their trust but looking at this video you still don't know how honest he's going to be on the sale part of it so all these comments are stupid saying he's wonderful and honest

Everyone is like he did awesome. Which he did, dont get me wrong but all he did was set the appointment. He still has to convince them to sign the 25 year power purchase agreement. I love solar. Made some bad ass friends who showed me a lot.
