These are the kind of things to be subsidized by govt. This is way way better than just giving money for free to through free electricity bcz.
1) it makes an ecosystem where India will manufacture its own solar panels batteries battery recycling etc
2) reducing dependency on China Japan and South Korea

If you invest 180000 in any small cap mutual fund it will give you 20% returns yearly. You can use that money to pay your electicity bills and you will still left with 180000😅😅

Actually the subsidy is for On-Grid system.. so without battery. Total expenditure for 3 kw system=1, 20, 000 with subsidy 78, 000.. So total expenditure= 42, 000

Our monthly consumption was 600-700 units per Month... I installed 3kw solar system ..After that our monthly consumption came down to 250-260 units per Month...nd guess what 300 units are free in Punjab...if you burn 301 unit than u have to pay for all 301 units....So after that free we got free electricity upto 600-650 units per Month...

In maharashtra electricity slab is like
6 for firat 100
Then after 100 its 10, 12, 16 and 21.
So if you want to calculate please use ₹21 rate per unit

Sir ji I have also solar pannels and a tip point u don't need batteries for solar pannels as u can make a direct connection to power house and the produce electricity will be noted in meter and no need of paying battery and electricity bill.

People will immediately start going for the counter argument that the money is better off being spent in some or the other financial instruments.

Isse zaada zaroori hai ki ek large scale pe log private solar panels laga lein taaki humaari dependence coal-powered electricity pe kam ho. Even if the majority of the pollution comes from industrial powerhouses, private use of solar energy on a large scale will definitely help in the long run especially in states with ample sunlight year round. 200-250 saalon se bechaari dharti maa pe atyaachar kar rahe hain fossil fuels ka istemaal karke, kam samey mein cheezein sahi nahi hogi. Par hogi zaaroor agar log isko kharche ki tarah kam, investment ki tarah zaada samjhe. Sabka financial status different hai, true. But those who can afford this technology should spend that money.

Subsidy is only valid for ON grid residential solar project.
No subsidy provided for battary required project like OFF grid

From when 1kW started producing 12 units a day?..see this is a potential dumbness..without knowing CUF how can we say kitni unit generate hogi. UP mai 4.5 unit to 5 unit gets generated per Kw

Hamare waha 4.5 kw ka laga hua hai solar panel.2lakh 70 thousand ka .90 thousand subsidy mile thi.

Life expectancy of Solar panel is around 20-25 years, and a battery would come around roughly 8-10 years depending on BMS, Temperature (-10 to 50 degrees) and average usage of the battery. So investment done will be recovered by 3-4 years but will benefit for almost 2 decades.

2. Monthly bill ke baad excess energy bech bhi sakte hain toa phir 3 saal ki jagah 1 saal main hi ho jana chahiye
