I know it's been out for a few weeks now but...
What are your guys thoughts on that "Gold" Smallmouth that's been all over social media and news articles?
The nerd in me immediately thought
"😲 He caught a Shiny Magikarp! 😲"

I’ve wanted to catch on of those all my life. I left Florida in 1994 and to my knowledge there were zero peacock bass north of Tampa.?? My friends and I fished every lake, pond, river, creek and puddle in and around pasco county.

I love my small mouse I love my large mouth I love my hybrids I love rockfish I love catching fish. Especially off a artificial beats and lures, I’ve never call a peacock my buddy said that he had them in his area near Saint Petersburg and Bradington and that’s about 2030 miles to 50 miles past Tampa What is it on 50 E. I believe that’s the street but I remember we went up playing golf and then later we went fission and he was saying something about some Red Sea I guess people from Florida know what that is or I don’t I’m from Baltimore and all I know is freshwater brackish water salt water Glad to see you guys having fun brother I thought matters be safe

That's an invasive species, it would be exotic if it wasn't here
