Death taxes and Whately not having the swans at one.

Swans just cemented their spot in pole position for this years flag
Great win against a really bloody good side in the Giants

Voss and selection committee needed to be grilled for those pre-game decisions...

I thought the Giants were fatigued by the last 15 minutes of the last quarter. Their effort of closing down the game for first 3 quarters took its toll.

Carlton were terrible voss made some blunders in my opinion

Good kicking has ALWAYS been essential for good football
Always will be
Unfortunately for me and all other Blues fans our kicking at times is horrible

I think Cerra gets off light when Carlton players are criticised

A lot of focus on Heeney, but hang on, wasn't it Papley that won the two v. one contest then dished off to Heeney. And Papley again who was involved getting the ball cleverly to Amartey for the final goal.
Yes Heeney was superb, but Papley was simply brilliant.

SCG is the loudest stadium in the country atm. I know Vic fans will disagree but i've been to games all over and SCG was the loudest by far

One of the biggest conundrums for me is that teams play brilliant attacking games, but miss get able/ easy standing kicks at goal. For me it undoes all the hard work of getting it down there in the first place and lowers the enjoyment of the game.

Jai newcombe will be a top 5 player in the comp within 2 years

Easily one of the toughest players in the league. Elite overhead mark and has been adding more goal threat every game hes played of late

did they not watch the cats? cos they were the most elite looking of the finalists Kingy rating them as 3rd is a good sign for another premiership. Sydney and GWS were pretty ordinary in comparison

Bevo replaces the best midfielder in the game with a weak rookie, he selects sub-VFL Vandermeer and O'Niell but omits Baker and Poulter, he has Naughton and Weightman minding vacant grass when the opposition have control of the ball, and he continues to tolerate Tim English's passivity in the ruck. Clearly, the greatest weakness at the kennel is their head coach. Compare the busy activity in the coach's box when Sydney were struggling with the blank faces and silence among the WB coaches. Until the administration at Footscray has the testicular fortitude to replace their lame coach, the dogs will continue to be a star-studded but failing team.

Meek, Nuke & Sis took over the game in the 2nd Quarter to turn it our way.

The “stars” in Carlton are selfish n kick only to their mates. Voss needs to fix that. If he can.
Hawthorn share the ball.

Kingy mate! You should COACH!! with how well you break down games post win/lose and say what you would have done, in the heat of moments + split second + high pressure scenarios = you would have 10 flags as coach!!

Nothing denser than doing an in hindsight review of something, such a win lose in sport. You have no impact lop

I don't feel like the dogs talls being "still too young" is a reason or an excuse. Darcy and JUH are both in their 20s... Dear and Watson are 18/19 year olds and those two took more marks inside 50 than the entire dogs team combined.

Amartey & Logan weren’t great but they took their moments when it mattered. Logan’s 3rd quarter goal plus a couple crucial score involvements in the 4th. Amartey’s goal we know about. Buckley & Taylor are the best defensive duo in the comp - no shame in losing to them. Logan and Amartey just needed to present and bring the ball to ground, which they did fine in.

Swans real danger forwards are Papley, Hayward, Parker and Heeney/Warner forward of centre.

What does Josh Schache and TDK as sub have in common ?
Carlton.
In the first they saw it not work. In the second they made it not work. Never has a match committee stuffed up a season more
