The guy is a generational player. True king in every sense. That shot will be etched in memory for years to come.

Even in EA cricket, a lofted, backfoot straight drive can go only for four at best. The timing and power he got on that was incredible!

Yesterday ICC declared this shot as the "Shot of the Century"❤

And we will never see him again do it in international T20 now that he announced his retirement from the format . One of the greatest ever....
Truly deserved the T20 WC

This Virat Kohli shot is the Cricket version of that impossible Messi goal vs Athletic Bilbao. I was dumbstruck Virat cannot be human. Even if he had hit this shot in a normal bilateral game it would have been special but The Time! The Place! The Situation! makes this shot the best in the history of cricket period.

It was a split of a second decision for Kohli, but his instinctual cover drive posture helped him to generate enough force with the bat while being on backfoot let him stand firm without loosing his balance. This is no fluke, the man is playing the sport for a dacade now, ofcourse he didn't think about it during the match but his subconscious knew the shorter boundary and he delivered. King for a reason.

Poetry in motion with words .. That is Jarrod Kimber.. was waiting for this and boy did he deliver.
Now await the podcast for that crazy last over which had the following in one single over:
- a single
- a double
- a triple
- a four
- a six
- two wickets
- a catch
- a stumping
- a bowled
- a wide
- byes
- a no ball
- a free hit

As an adversary you can't help but admire Kohli. There have been a lot of great batsmen in the game but Kohli is on another level. MSD and Kohli are the two players not only India but the world should be proud of.

I was sitting in a bar along with my friends watching this match on a projector screen having some drinks and we were actually gonna leave the place after India's horrendous start during the chase. But we just sat there kept discussing, hoping for a miracle and BOYYYY ! just after 30 mins or so, the place wasn't the same, it went absolutely the miracle was happening, we were all high and couldn't believe what's happening, everyone was jumping, shouting, screaming, whistling, dancing, chanting, what a Wild Wild day it was, that was an experience for life...like Mitch Marsh said, the WorldCup should've stopped right there
VK THE SUPERSTAR 🔥

Wish his own country respects him the way other country does performing on every match still gets called a statpader or selfish
When I was a kid I remember sitting beside my dad watching him play in Hobart smashing 24 runs of malinga in an over thought cricket was easy that man made it seem like it
A great country I'm born in with such talented hardworking individuals like these

No normal human can play that shot, he was possessed. He played 3 shots until now which is nearly impossible to play by any cricketer and this shot is the best among those 3, in cricket things happens which has no explanation. I remember the ball bowled by wasim to levis in 1992 wc, hats of to the King

as a self proclaimed expert in cricket video games since 1990s, i can assure you that this shot is almost impossible to execute in any of the games even at normal difficulty level. the only way i can see it happening is if you max up your attributes and hit it to the lowest ranked bowler at the easiest level in EA cricket 07 with 20 percent probability.

Didn't doubt for a single second that Virat would let this match slide. He seemed absolutely determined to get India over the line. His fours and six are magnificent but what makes him special is his incredible fitness that makes those 1s into 2s and 3s.
