I haven't verified this myself but somebody said that the Xillia games had been delisted on PS3. If true, that could be an indication that something's happening.

Why are people surprised this won't include Xillia 2? This is Bandai Namco. They cut Tales of Symphonia: DoTW from the last remaster and gave us an overpriced & undercooked one for a substitute. They then followed up with an underwhelming DLC in the same year that was also too much. And they've been ignoring localizing the 2-D games for over a decade now. So, this company doesn't exactly have their ears to the ground or make sound choices when it comes to the Tales series.

When they remastered Tales of Symphonia, they didn't include Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World with it either so I guess we're getting just the first one here with Tales of Xillia as well. Of course the first time they remastered Tales of Symphonia, the second game did get bundle with it so yeah Namco is being really weird nowadays but that was before they change their logo to the awful one.

I really hope this is real. Xillia is my second favorite in the franchise, so I would definitely buy it! But it does make me wonder why Tales of Abyss has not had a remaster on anything other than the 3DS (if I remember right) when it's the most beloved game in the franchise. I'd like to play that too haha.

The funny thing is that I just bought Tales of Xillia for PS3 a few days ago. Even so, I'd probably buy a remaster just to have it on modern hardware.

I still need to complete Xillia 2, while i do have a Platinum Trophy in base Xillia, i kinda missed Xillia 2 for some reason. So i'l be getting remasters for sure.

Ah yes, Xillia. The game that sneaks up an environmental message on you in the 3rd arc and it's NOT out of nowhere. That's so different from how people inject political messaging into games nowadays.
