Which one should I prefer to buy? Raspberry Pi 3 or any android tv box? First I want to watch IP TV as a media center. Pi3 gives multifunctional options like mini pc use with less energy and no disturbing cooler fan sounds... its able to install windows, linux, some stable android versions and kodi os. I can play my android games with no lag... Other than android tv boxes have remote control, chromecast, fiberoptic sound output for DTS home theatre and feels cool and modern.

The early B+ I inherited is only usable on a YT video if it is overclocked to the max and decreasing the resolution to say 720x480 CEA 16:9 for me. Once they load they will play with a few delays, but the CPU is still around 100% and occasional graphics noises in videos are introduced. In short they are not meant to be for multimedia like a desktop or comparable and more capable hardware.

Dual band Wi-Fi. I one I just bought doesn't or it is defective. I can only connect Wi-Fi with 5GHz. Other than that the board works okay. I need to test out the Bluetooth though.

Hiya very nice channel. One thing though - I cant find anyone else talking about a boost in storage speed so I suspect your sd card result is due to a config or hardware problem your 3B's setup.
