It's interesting how back then working for the Aristocracy was seen as a "safe" and "stable" career, and now that is attributed to working for a corporation, which in many ways has just replaced the aristocracy as the ruling class.

I have clothes that I wear around the house, clothes when I am running errands. I would wear different clothes if I were having breakfast/brunch outside than I would for dinner. PJs, lounge clothes, work clothes, errands, day and night outfits. Not too dissimilar to Downton Abbey except I don’t have or need someone to help me get dressed.
