9 disc's of sandpaper for the 9 letters in their name?

This is pretty standard for sanders, even ryobi has these, but either way, they're almost all manufactured in china so the only way to tell if you have a good tool is if it lasts. It used to be standard for power tools to last 10-20 years if they were used as intended, the extra features and things on new tools is just putting lipstick on a pig.

Best sander I ever bought is a Makita BO3710 sheet sander 😂.
As quiet as a Festool or Mirka, cost me only 65€, super compact but still gets the job done, excellent dust extraction with a vac, simple and reliable, spare parts are cheap and not backordered until the next decade 😅.
I go with Makita for powertools because they don't suck and you can repair them easily. No sense in buying a powertool when something as simple as a blown switch makes it E Waste because you cant get a new part.
Btw I pay ~20 cents per sheet since I buy bulk sandpaper on a roll and have a punch plate for the dust extraction holes.
I get the really good aluminum oxide paper and its worth it, I change sheets because I tear them on edges and damage them otherwise not because the abrasive is gone and it wont cut anymore.
As a flat surface finishing sander I couldn't ask for a better setup.

If you really want to impress me with a sander, include a tool to easily cut down sheets of sandpaper to the size/shape needed for the tool.

Of course I have the Festool 3" so I don't have a good reason to buy this... yet

Remember when buying a tool that you could use out of the box wasn't going any extra?

Milwaukee is good and all, but i feel like the tools you go for depends on the first tool you buy. In love with the milwaukee 12v drill with the front grip thingy though

This is what a focus on money vs. quality content looks like, never forget.

You can buy like 100 sandpaper discs for $20, and a pad for $20 more. The hose adapter is nice

I like the size of that. One thing I can’t stand about electric stuff is the huge battery packs.

I have the fuel one with the big battery and it runs through a 5amp hour battery In like 20 mins

9 isn't actually as weird as you think because they send you one disc for the grinder and eight extra

Any odd number makes sense any even number would be weird

I had to tell my friend that bought a Festool sander that he would destroy the tool if he did not buy the separately-sold interface pad. He was unaware that this critical piece of kit was not sold with the unit
