All I want is the new UI with the top taskbar with universal menu system.

What I want for Windows was lower RAM requirements, local account on home version, and older cpu support

Some of these features are really cool, like the search box in the Task Manager. I would love, however, for Microsoft to focus on updating the old UI across the OS, and moving over everything else from Control Panel to Settings. We need to update the Computer Management Console, and with it, the Device Manager, to the new UI as well. Performance Monitor, Registry Editor, all those things need updating. MS Paint needs a dark mode. The Properties dialogue box and Folder Options dialogue box (just to name a couple) don't recognize dark mode. Why are we adding completely new things before we complete the transformation of the existing things?

Here is a slightly unusual FYI situation and I don't know if it's a windows 11 issue or not. I have a Dell XOS 17 9500. It's connected to a Dell 3100 Dock. It never leaves this Dock. Occasionally I will wake up in the morning and find the machine powered down. I restart it with the power button, and it reports the battery is extremely low. I then cycle the power bar that the Dock is plugged into and the machine is now able to restart normally and reports 100% battery available. I thought possibly it was an issue with the dock. But, then my other station an XPS 13 connected with a USB hub demonstrated the exact same behavior. It makes me wonder if It is a windows power monitoring issue and not a hardware issue.
