I maybe wrong but I believe Amazon wants to lay off but do not want to pay unemployment benefits. They know a lot of people working two jobs and live far away. They know a lot will quit and they will benefit by not paying unemployment. The name of the game is how to lay off and save the company money, make them quit working for them.

I have to drive an hr to work 5 days a week. I could care less if Amazon is making its employees work in the office. Heck I think its a good thing. Make those lazy people work or fire them.

It has been 3 days a week required in office since last fall. That Olympia resident was already not following the rules. It's people like that that ruined it for honest employees!

Probably calling all the employees back to work in the office so they can get a headcount and then from there they’re gonna lay off a percentage of them. They just want to see how many people they actually got working for them so they can generate their numbers for mass layoff.

My sister and I go round and round about this issue. She believes everyone should be allowed to work remotely. I don't !! Some people/employees are just not good remote workers. Don't have daycare, don't respect employment standards ( background noises, getting drinks while on the phone, take too long to answer the phones, ) I personally believe that working remotely should be earned. Great workers, self starters. Not everyone is Earn it, prove you can work a full 8 hours and follow the standards

If the employees were hired to work from home, then those employees have a legitimate gripe. If they were originally working in the office, then too bad. The pandemic ended a long time ago and there’s no reason for the company to be renting office space if people aren’t going to be there.

👏👏👏THANK GOD‼️. I’m so tired of calling these at home employees! Their TVs are blasting, boyfriends talking, roosters roosting, dogs barking, chickens clucking, babies crying, placing calls on unnecessary long hold times and flat out dropping the calls on purpose ! They blew a good thing by being unprofessional.

they chose to move, did anyone EVER tell them their work from home was forever? life is tough, you make decisions, you get to live those decisions. life is tough, maybe wearing a helmet will work for you.

It amazes me how people thought during Covid Things were going to stay permenent I never stopped paying my bills So I had no problem coming back into the office Cause I never assume things would stay the same The other reasons are: Babysitter Gas Time getting ready for work Working at home people got too comfortable Remember when you work for someone The boss calls the shots

If you invested time with a job you plan on keeping Than I would make the needed adjustments to keep your job BUT if your not willing to adapt to change Than you will have to pursue another job that better fits your needs and lifestyle Thankfully right after they opened everything back up I retire early June 2021 After giving 30 years of service Thank you for always giving us something to think about👍
